This policy allows the admins to configure the <ph name="CLOUD_UPLOAD_NAME">Cloud Upload</ph> flow for <ph name="GOOGLE_DRIVE_NAME">Google Drive</ph> and <ph name="GOOGLE_WORKSPACE_NAME">Google Workspace</ph> on <ph name="PRODUCT_OS_NAME">$2<ex>Google ChromeOS</ex></ph>.
Setting the policy to '<ph name="ALLOWED_NAME">allowed</ph>' lets the user set up the <ph name="CLOUD_UPLOAD_NAME">Cloud Upload</ph> flow for <ph name="GOOGLE_DRIVE_NAME">Google Drive</ph> and <ph name="GOOGLE_WORKSPACE_NAME">Google Workspace</ph> if they wish to.
After completing the setup process, files with matching file formats will by default be moved to <ph name="GOOGLE_DRIVE_NAME">Google Drive</ph> and handled by one of the <ph name="GOOGLE_WORKSPACE_NAME">Google Workspace</ph> apps when the user attempts to open them.
Setting the policy to '<ph name="DISALLOWED_NAME">disallowed</ph>' prohibits the user from setting up the <ph name="CLOUD_UPLOAD_NAME">Cloud Upload</ph> flow for <ph name="GOOGLE_DRIVE_NAME">Google Drive</ph> as described above and removes <ph name="GOOGLE_WORKSPACE_NAME">Google Workspace</ph> apps from the list of potential file handlers.
Setting the policy to '<ph name="AUTOMATED_NAME">automated</ph>' sets up the <ph name="CLOUD_UPLOAD_NAME">Cloud Upload</ph> flow for <ph name="GOOGLE_DRIVE_NAME">Google Drive</ph> and <ph name="GOOGLE_WORKSPACE_NAME">Google Workspace</ph> automatically, so that files with matching file formats will by default be moved to <ph name="GOOGLE_DRIVE_NAME">Google Drive</ph> and handled by one of the <ph name="GOOGLE_WORKSPACE_NAME">Google Workspace</ph> apps when the user attempts to open them.
Leaving the policy unset is functionally equivalent to setting it to '<ph name="ALLOWED_NAME">allowed</ph>' for regular users; for enterprise users unset policy defaults to '<ph name="DISALLOWED_NAME">disallowed</ph>'.
